August 1st Sunday Lunch

This month we headed acoss the street to Kona Grill in North Park mall for lunch. Pastor, Jill, and Annie were able to join us, which was so nice. We all had great meals. Mark had sushi that was so spicy his face turned red! We discussed the upcoming SMU school year, and Mark has agreed to lead the campus Bible study. Yeah! We also discussed our upcoming volunteer project. We'll be starting on our Nelson Center lobby remodel soon. It's going to be a busy fall!

Strike!

Our July social activity was lots of fun. We went bowling in Richardson. We all did pretty well with even a few strikes! The air conditioning was out on our side of the alley, so Rachel fought over the fan with another table. Well, fought passive aggressively. She'd turn the fan toward us. They'd turn the fan towards them. It became a bit of a game. How long would it take the other table to notice? Bowling was great. I can't wait for the August social activity. We're going to Mark and Ashley's for Wii! I bet we do better bowling on screen.
