Cook-out!

This past Saturday we had a cook-out at Kelly's. The weather was perfect, as was the food. There were eight YALL members, one baby and two dogs. We had hamburgers and hotdogs and Rachel made yummy macaroni and cheese! Odie, the big dog, chowed down on the guacamole when left unattended. Woops! Nearly everyone took turns trying out the hammock. Jeff and the baby lost their balance and fell out. Boom! Luckily, no one was hurt. Pastor and Jill couldn't make it this time, so we've got a rain check for our next outing. Hmmm...maybe a drive-in movie?

Welcome all young adults to the ORLCS YALL blog. Okay, we know, that's a really long name, and it stands for something even longer - Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and School Young Adult Lutheran Laymen. You can just call us YALL. We're an active group of young adults ranging from college to career. We're located close to the SMU campus in Dallas, TX. We're single, married, and everything in between. (Two of our members are getting married in May!) We love to get together for social activities, but we can't do without some volunteer projects. We'll be doing a large project for the Nelson Childrens Center in Denton this summer. Fun! We also have a Sunday School class. Look around our blog.
